Google Home Max is a $399 smart speaker with room-filling sound

Google is selling the Home Max for nearly US$400, US$50 more than the HomePod.

Google, besides launching its Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL smartphones, launched two new speakers with Google Assistant.

This is the Apple HomePod Mini, I mean the Google Home Mini ($49), and is set to debut as a direct competitor to seemingly pervasive Amazon's Echo Dot.

Now, the days are gone, when you have to take care of your device even when you are at home.

It is created to be used on its side, but thanks to some helpful magnets it can be stood up too. The device is equipped with 4.5-inch woofers that the company claims are of the high-excursion variety and features a rigid case structure specifically created to maintain the compositional integrity of the audio it produces.

Uber CEO holds 'constructive' talks with London officials
In an email to staff, Jo Bertram said: "I've chose to move on to something new and exciting". The license expired on September 30, 2017.

It has the same fabric-finish like the Google Home Mini.

Impressively, that fabric cover is still actually touch-sensitive - so you can tap in various places to pause music, change the volume, or start talking to the Assistant.

That's just the tip of the iceberg, really, as Google Home Mini can plug into all kinds of situations and be tuned to suit your personal home life as necessary. Since the Google Home still hasnt been launched in India, it's unlikely that the Home Max will be available here anytime soon. The search giant unveiled the Home Mini and Home Max as a part of its new connected home devices. This step will allow you to do multi-step routines and also trigger the device with phrases like "good morning".

Perhaps the most intriguing new feature is Smart Sound.

Like the HomePod, the Max uses microphones to collect data about the audio environment it's sitting in, then makes adjustments to the sound frequencies to fit the room.

State Dept. Expels 15 Cuban Officials From DC Embassy
Last week U.S. officials said: "We don't know the means, the methods or how the attacks are being carried out". A state department official said that the move did not signal a change of policy towards Cuba.

Thanks to the Google Assistant you'll also be able to ask the name of songs, just by humming the tune. Google says the Home Max can deliver sound that's 20x more powerful than the regular Google Home.

Unfortunately, Google is making this a US-exclusive for now. This will be available in December 2017 for $399 and will be available in two colours. That big ticket does include a 12-month subscription for Youtube Red, which would otherwise cost $120. The phones are available for pre-order now starting at $649 United States dollars.

The products are being sold and marketed under the tag Made By Google.

Company informed that Google Home will be launched in Japan next week.

National Basketball Association changes All-Star Game format; Captains will select mixed-conference teams
There will surely be a bunch of narrative with this new All-Star Game and the West is too stacked to do the old format anyways. Still, it gives NBA fans one more thing to look forward to in what will certainly be another fantastic season of basketball.
