New Justice League Trailer: Superman Finally Appears, In A Roundabout Way

While we are at a month of the release, on 17 November, a new and final trailer has been unveiled at Comic Con in NY, and there was Superman. While you never can tell with marketing, the new Justice League trailer is here for us to poke at, observe, and dissect. Perhaps. We also get an awesome shot of Wonder Woman taking the alien general Steppenwolf head on. Regardless, the new trailer premiered at New York Comic Con. As a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes" plays, the superheroes come together fight their enemy.

Below we break down the trailer's biggest, and most intriguing, moments.

We get a glimpse of the battle scenes that we've seen in the trailers that have previously been released. This premise is a continuation of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice storyline.

Earlier today Warner Bros. While it's doubtful that Clark Kent will be going through an existential crisis in Justice League, it'll be interesting to see which way they push his character. We got Superman, but in what appears to be only a memory or a wishful dream of Lois'. It gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming superhero movie. Snyder's presence is probably best demonstrated by the heavy artillery shell from the Batmobile's cannon hitting the ground. Maybe it's from late in the film, after Superman has arrived to help save the day, again.

He rose for the catch then came down awkwardly, his leg appearing to get caught under cornerback Casey Howard. Giants fans quickly took to Twitter to lament their injury woes and wish Beckham Jr a speedy recovery.

Will one of them be Superman? Scowls and angst are so 2016 in the DC Extended Universe. The film also stars Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, J.K. Simmons and Henry Cavill and opens in theaters on November 17th.

Affleck's Batman also makes reference to a dream, only his is about the end of the world. This is gonna be fun!
