Former 49ers QB YA Tittle passes away at age 90

He led the league in passing touchdowns three times and was named AP Most Valuable Player in 1963.

Tittle was suffering from severe dementia at the time of his death.

Tittle was the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers' "Million-Dollar Backfield" in the 1950s, and he and wide receiver R.C. Owens developed the alley-oop pass there.

Jaish operational chief Khalid killed in Rafiabad gunfight
These search operations resulted in a gun battle when the militants started to fire at the search operation officials. He was involved in the killing of Fayaz Ahmad Rather, resident of Saidpora Rafiaabad near his home.

Before making the jump to pro football, Tittle played two seasons in Baton Rouge. Before the 1961 season, Tittle's value was so low that the 49ers traded the 34-year-old QB to the Giants for a rookie offensive lineman (Lou Cordileone). He became a star for LSU before he was selected with the sixth overall pick of the 1948 draft by the Detroit Lions.

"It made quarterbacking so easy because I just get in the huddle and call anything and you have three Hall of Fame running backs ready to carry the ball", said Tittle in 2006. Tittle piled up two MVP awards, four All-NFL selections and seven Pro Bowl appearances.

Tittle resigned after the 1964 season with 33,070 vocation yards and 242 profession touchdown passes.

Top House Democrat says it's time for Pelosi to "pass the torch"
While Duffy found it unlikely that Pelosi would be replaced before next year's midterms, "Who knows what will happen in 2018". Unfortunately, as Sanchez hints, one big obstacle to that is Nancy Pelosi and her full-on progressive push.

He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1971.

Tittle led the New York Giants to 3 consecutive division titles from 1961 to 1963, but alas, Tittle never played on a championship team.

In FSU win, Malik Rosier proves he's Miami's big-game quarterback
Rosier misses Berrios on a slant for what would have been a touchdown, and then can't get the pass to Ahmmon Richards to stick. Florida State tied it at 10-10 early in the fourth quarter when Ryan Izzo caught a 15-yard pass in the back of the end zone.

Tittle still remains tied with seven other players - including Peyton Manning and Drew Brees - for the most touchdown passes (seven) in a single game in National Football League history.
