Windows Phone is Dead, Microsoft Confirms

Belfiore tried to justify by saying that Microsoft had tried hard to get apps on Windows Mobile, however, the number of users is so slow that most companies don't wish to invest.

Belfiore's Twitter session, that started with an emoticon response to a tweet commending Edge, slowly turned into an explanation of why Windows Mobile platform failed. Remember that the Windows 10 Redstone 4 builds will be buggy but it won't contain any new features as the update is in the early stage of development. Since their launch, the company had stopped developing any new Windows-powered smartphones as it was still figuring out how to restructure their mobile division in the face of the loss incurred due to Android's exponentially growing popularity.

Microsoft doesn't plan to let existing Windows Phone users down - there will be security updates. According to Belfiore, the company would pay money and even write apps for developers to try and win them over but ultimately, the volume of users was too low for most companies to invest. The Redmond giant has confirmed that it isn't abandoning the OS altogether and will continue to provide support and security updates for the current devices. "Choose what's best for you". The Windows 10 phone isn't popular enough and has very limited users.

Windows 10 Mobile has been in troubled waters for quite some time. Belfiore's tweets indicated that Microsoft can no longer survive in fierce competition against Apple's iOS and Google's Android.

I made the mistake in the past of going out a little too hard too soon and you still have a long ways to go for several miles. The women's race was won by Ethiopian world record holder Tirunesh Dibaba, who won in 2 hours 18 minutes and 31 seconds.

The inevitable has happened: Microsoft has effectively declared that Windows 10 Mobile is dead in the water.

That if anything should be a sign that it's time to call it a day and move on from Windows phones.

It's not clear why the message is only addressed to Mixed Reality devs, as this is probably something all Windows Insiders should know about.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar spoke with Seahawks prior to game vs. Rams
If he stays that composed even against this Seattle defense, the Seahawks are going to have a real hard time overcoming that. The Rams split their two games with the Seahawks previous year , but they didn't score a touchdown in either game.
