Trump suggests cutting NFL's 'massive tax breaks' because of players' anthem protests

Trump suggests cutting NFL's 'massive tax breaks' because of players' anthem protests

Jones' comments occurred in response to Pence abruptly leaving Sunday's game after more than 20 49ers knelt during the national anthem.

After Trump's aforementioned comments, more than 200 NFL players protested during the national anthem on September 24.

Trump seemed to be in a disagreeable mood in the early hours of the morning, posting a series of tweets between 6:13 a.m. and 6:42 a.m. criticizing the National Football League over the anthem protests, Democrats over immigration reform and ESPN over TV host Jemele Hill, who was suspended over the weekend for her second violation of ESPN's social media policy.

Windows Mobile is 'no longer a focus' for Microsoft
When asked by a user whether it is "time to leave Windows Mobile platform", Belfiore tweeted back, "Depends who you are". Microsoft's recent strategy in the mobile space has focused around bringing its software products to Android and iOS.

However Trump stands accused of political grandstanding and wasteful spending of his own, after Vice President Mike Pence quickly left an Indiana Colts game after a few dozen players knelt during the Star Spangled Banner. "As thousands have shown in the past, it takes bravery and courage to speak and confront these issues, as our players have, especially when it is unpopular with some", Smith added.

"There is room for (NFL) management to do the same and maybe then players do not have to risk the taunts and threats alone".

"If there's anything that is disrespectful to the flag, then we will not play", Jones said after the Cowboys' loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Meanwhile, the players are all geared up for the next challenge. "We had a plan before the game and we stuck to it", de Matos said.

Tensions and feelings are running high throughout our country due to President Trump's unfortunate use of invectives aimed at employees of the NFL who have chose to kneel during the pre-game ritual of playing our national anthem. "But they let us know that we are expected to stand during the anthem". As of the writing of this article, he said no member of his team's management or coaching staff had contacted him. Jones said he was unaware of their actions.

The vice president's $242,500 protest of National Football League players peacefully protesting on the sideline was planned as Trump said he asked Pence to leave if anyone kneeled during the anthem. Trump said in a tweet later on Sunday evening that he had asked Pence to walk out if more protests occurred.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, an NFL spokesperson said: "The national anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the national anthem". Former 49ers player Colin Kaepernick initiated the practice previous year, after first sitting out the national anthem in protest at police brutality of black people.

The defense is also a fragile component of the team and this is a very winnable but tough task away from home for Sampaoli's men. But a draw or loss will mean they are at the mercy of other results and could slip into fifth place, or miss out altogether.
