Giants suspend Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie after he shows up, then leaves

Somehow things are getting worse: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie got suspended by the team Wednesday for what amounts to going AWOL.

Rodgers-Cromartie, who had started three games, reported to the Giants headquarters Wednesday morning and then left.

Shepard is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Broncos and, although the Giants are listing him as day-to-day, he's likely to also be unavailable for when they return home for the October 22 game against Seattle at MetLife Stadium.

The source went on to say that Rodgers-Cromartie showed up for meetings Wednesday but left the defensive team meeting while it was ongoing, cleaned out his locker and left the team facility. He has 26 tackles and a half-sack this season.

Most teammates did not hear about the Rodgers-Cromartie's situation until after practice. He also doesn't feel the team is falling apart.
