Mauricio Pochettino slams Pep Guardiola: Tottenham are not 'the Harry Kane team'

Mauricio Pochettino slams Pep Guardiola: Tottenham are not 'the Harry Kane team'

"It did not affect me but was very disrespectful for many people".

"I don't know why he said it, why he showed too much respect to Manchester United because in the same way he could have said "Lukaku team". But I did it because he scored two more goals against Huddersfield.

He added: "It's hard to understand because Pep was part of the big success at Barcelona when it was Messi at his best, and I never said it was "the Messi team".

Kane was named as the Premier League's Player of the Month for September earlier today, after a wonderful run of form.

Tottenham's boss had been stewing over that remark during the worldwide break and Guardiola passionately defended his comments.

SpaceX successfully landed the rocket's first stage on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean for reuse in another future launch. SES has repeatedly demonstrated confidence in the rocket company's ability to make reusable launch technology safe.

"I think it's a sad comment because the players laugh about that".

If he believes that, maybe I should just have said "Pochettino team" instead of "Harry Kane's team".

"I respect a lot what Tottenham have done in the last two or three years, a lot of credit [to them] in the way they play and the way they show football in the Premier League - the way he proposes, always attacking".

Plus a little video from the press conference.

"I feel very proud about that", said Pochettino.

Sanchez has been linked with a number of major clubs, among them Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. The message from Arsene Wenger to Alexis Sanchez is clear: 'Give me until January, then you can go'.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola strongly refuted Mauricio Pochettino's allegation that he disrespected Tottenham by calling them "the Harry Kane team". I spoke after the Chelsea game about how good United are and I gave a lot of credit to Tottenham because last season they finished better than us, and that means a lot'. "I think everyone deserves to be recognised as being part of the success of the team".

Guardiola added that "maybe I should have said Pochettino's team when I said Harry Kane's team".

'I spoke many times to Mauricio. I think it's the same.

'Maybe I can answer when someone attacks my team or my club, but never would I be disrespectful about Mauricio or Tottenham. Never in my career have I not been respectful.

This was announced on the Premier League's verified Twitter handle on Friday.
