LaVar Ball Takes Shot at Patrick Beverley After Clippers Shut Down Lonzo

After the Clippers easily dismantled rookie guard Lonzo Ball and the rival Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday evening, Beverley, who was extra aggressive against the former UCLA standout, could be heard shouting celebratory expletives in the direction of his opponents.

"Clippers guard Patrick Beverly screamed outside locker room, 'Weak ass m--- f---".

The hype surrounding Ball is nothing new, and the Lakers look at the point guard as their great hope.

F1 2017: Fernando Alonso Signs Deal With McLaren For 2018
Eric Boullier, McLaren's Racing Director, stated that there is no other driver that can deliver results aside from Alonso. The news was confirmed in Austin on Thursday morning local time ahead of this weekend's American Grand Prix.

Beverley, who was acquired in the Chris Paul trade this summer, is notoriously known across the league as one of the best defenders.

Beverley was his usual, aggravating self on the defensive end of the floor last night, bumping and shit-talking whenever possible.

Once the game ended, that didn't stop Beverley from voicing his mind on Ball.

Orionid meteor shower peaks this week
WAKING up at an absurdly early hour on Sunday morning will be a small price to pay to see the Orionid meteor shower . The Orionid meteor shower is in progress through October 29 but peaks Thursday and Friday night, October 20-21.

Maybe nobody else will care quite as much about humiliating LaVar Ball by shutting his son down on the court, but Beverley raises a good point. Because Lonzo's name is attached to it ... And you want to tell me that I got your son! Sophomore Brandon Ingram joins Ball as the second prominent figure on the cover of the Lakers' 2017-18 media guide, signaling the reality that the 2017-18 Lakers are counting on a rookie 19-year-old and a soft-spoken 20-year-old to lead the franchise out of the darkness that took over at the sunset of Kobe Bryant's career. And for LaVar and is his Big Baller Brand, isn't that what matters most?

LaVar, as is typically the case, had plenty to say. In fact, Sacramento Kings rookie point guard De'Aaron Fox, who faced off against Lonzo twice in college, told Sports Illustrated in June that National Basketball Association point guards will go after Lonzo aggressively, even naming Beverley as an example. This was a rare instance - or at least since Skip Bayless went to FS1 - where I actually found myself agreeing more with Stephen A. I'll leave it up to you to take him further.

Lonzo Ball finished the night with just 3 points in 29 minutes played on 1-of-6 shooting, his only make coming from a 3-pointer.

The Apple Mac mini may not be dead after all
So the Mac mini will be refreshed, but it seems likely that won't happen until after the new Mac Pro launches. That Tim Cook took time out of his day to reply to a random email is somewhat eye-catching.
