Nvidia Uses the Force with Star Wars Titan Xp GPUs

Not only do we have Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi coming up in a little over a month, but today NVIDIA revealed a new pair of collector's edition Titan Xp GPUs that carry a Star Wars theme. Be warned, though: they won't come cheap.

Both versions have different cooler die-cast aluminum shrouds with matching Galactic Empire and Jedi Order design, that should emulate the design of lightsabres, as well as matching red and green LED color, Jedi Order or Galactic Empire logos and special backplate. That's about all that separates these variants from the standard Pascal-based Titan Xp.

NVIDIA first unveiled its mysterious TITAN Xp Collector's Edition just a few days ago, but in the meantime we've seen RTG boss Raja Koduri depart the company in full, and now NVIDIA has hit again with a full unveiling of the best looking graphics cards the company has ever made. That's it. No hidden light tricks.

Ever look at an Nvidia Titan Xp GPU and thought, "Hmm". It turns out we wanted Star Wars-themed cards.

Where to vote, what to bring on Election Day
The Courthouse District has the only contested race, with Case Clinger and Jerry Boothe on the ballot for Supervisor. Lehman is looking for a turnout of 10-12 percent, compared to the six percent turnout from the last city elections.

The retail box packaging also pays homage to the light and dark sides of the Force, with the Jedi Order edition bathed in white, and the Galactic Empire edition bathed in black. Both versions feature much more lighting too, with illumination added to the heatsink and fan. Personally, I recommend these GPUs for PC gamers that have desktop cases with side panels, that allow for mounting them on their side. Each card comes with a collectable electroformed metal badge containing the insignia of whichever alliance you chose. The early pre-orders are available only to GeForce Experience users.
