Those strong winds will bring wind chills down into the teens during the day Friday and into single digits by early Saturday. Most of the snow looks to be confined to northern part of the state, where accumulations of up to 3 inches could be seen.

A spokeswoman for Rockdale County Public Schools said Hagan is on leave while school officials investigate the incident. The views expressed therein are not necessarily those of, its sponsors or advertisers.

Carr did not respond to a request for comment from The Post, but she told WSB-TV that the school's assistant principal called her on Thursday to tell her that someone had used profanity with her 17-year-old son.

She said her 11th-grade son and other students were laughing while Hagan was writing an equation on the board. "But at the end of the day, he is a child and that teacher is an adult". He is supposed to maintain control of that classroom and of himself. if you are frustrated, pull him out the class or wait until another class period. "You don't threaten his life".

April Carr, the student's mother, called the comments "outright racist" and calls for swift action.
