Keith Urban set to perform new Weinstein-inspired song at CMA Awards

On the CMA Awards Wednesday night, Keith Urban is set to perform "Female", a new song written in response to the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault and harassment scandals.

"When somebody laughs and implies that she asked for it / Just cause she was wearing a skirt / Oh is that how that works?"

"We're in a room and we're like, 'What can we do about this?' And that's the one thing we can do is write songs", Copperman said.

Japanese companies stoked for China's Singles Day
For comparison, Alibaba shoppers spent $ 1 billion in the first 5 minutes of Single's Day past year . JD.com has partnered with Tencent and Baidu to attract as many shoppers to its platform as possible.

Urban told Billboard the disturbing allegation against Hollywood heavyweights, such as Harvey Weinstein, Dustin Hoffman, and Kevin Spacey, had made an impact on him. "And as a son - my mother is alive".

Urban's performance was extremely simple and handsome.

Disney Will Launch ESPN+ Streaming Service In Spring 2018
In August, Disney announced it would acquire a majority share in the BamTech media company to help launch both streaming services. Iger spoke at length about the streaming service, which still doesn't have an official name, during an investor's call.

"The writers wrote this song on October 10th and I heard it the next day", Urban toldRolling Stone Country.

Urban's wife Nicole Kidman, who provides backing vocals on the track, posted a proud picture on Facebook of her and her husband sharing a kiss ahead of his CMA performance. I grew up in a house with boys, no sisters. In addition to singling out his (living!) relatives, Urban also pointed out that he employs a number of women on his team.

Mostly, though, it's about sexism more generally, with the singer obliquely referencing Beyoncé ("When you hear a song that they play saying you run the world/ Do you believe it?/ Will you live to see it?") and later getting Biblical by questioning whether Adam is more important than Eve. The lyrics streamed on the stage behind him - and they were quite powerful lyrics.

Niantic Labs has enjoyed enormous success by taking on Nintendo's popular "Pokemon" franchise to produce " Pokemon Go ". Potter fans have been told they will have to wait until next year to discover more.

"After much analysis and deliberation, the jury has unanimously concluded that on the charge of being The Worst, Keith Urban's "Female" is guilty on all counts", Andrew Todd tweeted.
