Tyson Fury responds to Anthony Joshua's uncharacteristically sweary dig

"Deontay Wilder wants to call me out - no problem, I've already had a meeting about that".

Joshua is recovering after a bruising encounter with Carlos Takam in Cardiff.

The two undefeated heavyweights going at it on British soil would make for quite the spectacle, and the build-up, as well as the fight itself, would be something special - if the Twitter talk between the two is anything to go off.

As reported by Gareth A. Davies of the Daily Telegraph, Joshua also said he believed a fight between the two could go ahead, though there are other challengers he now has his eye on.

Wilder, on the other hand, says he is ready for a fight with Joshua in early 2018 after the 32-year-old ran through his latest challenger, Bermane Stiverne. "If Wilder's not making an offer, we'll do it on my terms".

"Of course Joshua has told me we want all the belts and that means taking on all the champions". If we offered Deontay the correct purse for this fight it would never happen because he would think it was disrespectful.

Hearn has suggested fans may have to wait until 2018 until they see Joshua-Wilder, though, per The Independent.

WBC heavyweight Wilder was next on Joshua's hitlist, with the Watford-born fighter posting a YouTube video of a lengthy interview during which he urged the American to set up a title fight between the two.

"I've had to take it on, in my time off, to make plans to travel to America and discuss negotiations so I can become undisputed heavyweight champion of the world". I say we get Lennox Lewis involved. Eddie is scared of this fight.

"This is a message to the weightlifter, big Anthony Joshua", Fury said.

And although Hearn splits opinion in the boxing world, there were loads of people that loved him for what he said about Wilder.

Hearn has asked for patience from fans calling on Fury to face Joshua, saying: "Forget the Anthony Joshua fight for him for now, get Tyson Fury back on the horse". You want to practice on a bit more speed and less power.
