Marc Marquez wins 4th MotoGP title on last race of season

"I hadn't confessed this before, but during a period of the season I lost some's tough, but you get through it with the team you have around you".

The race itself was won by Dani Pedrosa who sealed his second victory of the season, both of which have come on Spanish tarmac, with a brilliant last-lap overtake of France's Johann Zarco.

The moment - which dropped him to fifth before the Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo crashed in front of him - was the result of pressure from Tech3's Johann Zarco, as he was "scared" to let the Frenchman try a potentially risky move.

With the title secured, Marquez settled for the third spot, 10.861 seconds off the pace.

In an interview with the New York Times this past July, Smith said she was having trouble moving after suffering a minor stroke. Liz Smith attends the Edgar Awards of the Mystery Writers of America in NY in May 2003.

Honda rider Marquez took the lead early in the session and established a clear advantage with a lap time of 1m30.939s.

Lorenzo then bolted to chase down Pedrosa and Zarco ahead, before the Ducati Team rider went down suddenly - and just as suddenly, the dream was over for his teammate.

Pulling the pin, Pedrosa left Zarco with no answer on the final lap to take his second win of the year.

Marc Marquez laid down the gauntlet to Andrea Dovizioso on Saturday morning, topping the timing sheets by a quarter of a second from Johann Zarco.

With Dovizioso out, Marquez's result was not important - he was guaranteed a fourth world title, becoming the youngest man to reach that tally in the premier class.

Valentino Rossi of Yamaha will start seventh in the race. Iannone dropped back slightly after a run off at Turn 1 to take sixth, ahead of a great final race with EG 0,0 Marc VDS for Jack Miller in P7.

Maverick Vinales was only 13th in FP3, and must battle through Q1 along with Honda and Ducati satellite riders Cal Crutchlow and Danilo Petrucci.

That's a wrap on a stunning season to savour, with 2017 having provided some of the most incredible racing ever seen.

Cook-Schulz said it released the report on the lead content of these two spinners early because of public safety concerns. Many light-up fidget spinners also contain lithium batteries that can cause severe internal burns if swallowed.

Dovizioso needed a win and for Marquez to finish outside the top 11 in the season-closing race, but he ran wide with five laps to go to leave his bike in the gravel.
