Mass stabbing at Mall of America in Minnesota

When confronted, he stabbed a man he had tried to rob and another in his party, police said.

Mahad Abdiaziz Abdirahaman a 20 year old Minnesota man has been named as the individual who Sunday evening went on a stabbing spree during a 'botched' stealing attempt Bloomington's Mall of America.

Police say one victim was stabbed after confronting Abdirahaman who was allegedly trying to steal his belongings from the dressing room. The others in their party disarmed Abdirahaman and restrained him until police arrived a few minutes later. The second victim was stabbed after intervening.

The suspect in custody is being held on two counts of probable first-degree assault.
