Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman 2 to release in Nov 2019 now

An announcement made yesterday from the studio revealed not only was "Wonder Woman 2" still on track, but the release date had been moved forward to november 1, 2019.

Ratner recently joined the ever-growing list of high-profile Hollywood figures who've been accused of sexual harassment.

A Warner Bros. representative has since dismissed the rumor as "false", with other outlets noting the studio's deal with RatPac-Dune would have already expired by the time Wonder Woman 2 begins production.

"Justice League" will be released this Friday.

Warner Bros. officials can certainly afford to pay Jenkins handsomely - Wonder Woman was a massive hit worldwide, grossing $821.8 million following its summer (17) release. But the 48-year-old filmmaker, best known for the "Rush Hour" franchise, said in a statement that he was "choosing to personally step away from all Warner Bros. -related activities". "I want it so bad!"

Gadot's supposed ultimatum, though immediately refuted by Warner Bros., was met with overwhelming support from fans and industry professionals alike, who felt the actress was living up to her DC superhero role. Chatting with Entertainment Tonight during the Justice League premiere, Jenkins explained that Ratner is not working on Wonder Woman 2, a decision that was made prior to when the Page Six report first surfaced.

The source added of Israeli-born Gadot, "She's tough and stands by her principles". She was slated to give a Jewish National Fund award to Ratner in late October, but the actress' publicist announced she would not appear at the event because of a scheduling conflict. The news comes hot on the heels of star Gal Gadot's rumoured condition that she would refuse to star in the sequel unless producer Brett Ratner was no longer attached to the project.

It is unclear what will become of RatPac-Dune's relationship with Warner Bros. beyond next spring. It is now led by Len Blavatnik. Mnuchin also sold his stake as part of his move into government work.
