Yep, Sydney Just Named Its New Ferry 'Ferry McFerryface'

Ferry McFerryface was the runner-up in an online contest to name the boat, the sixth of a new series created to zip around the massive drowned river valley that sits at the heart of Australia's largest city.

A publicly-voted competition to find a name for the new vessel resulted in "Boaty McBoatface" being the top choice, but that name was made famous by the Brits, who voted to call a new research boat by that title past year.

The worldwide online trend was started by a suggestion from a former BBC radio host for Boaty McBoatface in 2016.
