Jose Izquierdo was going to be subbed, says Brighton's Chris Hughton

"If you're not able to win games, try not to lose them".

"I thought the referee did well and wasn't swayed by the crowd".

"We showed great character to come back twice".

"I didn't think we were at our best". I was certain it would be given, if not by the referee then the linesman on that side.

"But they would have gone through some hard seasons as well, even after the good work Tony (Pulis) did there - but they're now a very established top-flight side, there's no doubt about that".

Man City boss Pep Guardiola cautious over Vincent Kompany
The post Guardiola plays down Man City Champions League favourites tag appeared first on Vanguard News . Asked if they could play together, he added: "Yeah, when we had Mendy".

"Credit to the players, you had a Stoke team who at times were very happy to defend their own half". We are going to concede goals - the frustration with their second is we worked hard to get back into the game and showed some naivety.
