Apple Pay Cash Missing from iOS 11.2 but Coming this Week

On Saturday morning, Apple sent out an update to iOS 11.2 to put a end to the December 2nd date bug that was putting some iPhone models on a continuous crashing loop.

Another aspect with the latest update is that it comes with the fix for the date bug that caused iOS 11.1.2 devices to crash after December 2.

Apple said in a tweet it will be rolling out Apple Pay Cash to iPhone users over the course of this week. Following the successful update of the Apple devices, users are finding it hard to use the latest Apple Pay Cash for a person-to-person payment system that operates via iMessages.

Trump scales back 2 big Utah national monuments
Dan Smuts, the Senior Director of the Pacific Region Wilderness Society worries what happened in Utah could set a precedent. President Trump says there's been "a massive federal land grab" which has taken away state's rights.

This new feature lets iOS users do in iMessage what Venmo has done for years - send money through an app. But with Apple Pay Cash, all you have to do is open Messages and select the Apple Pay icon from the app drawer (a.k.a. that little row of app icons that shows up below the place where you compose your message).

Payments received are applied to the virtual debit card in the Wallet app which can be used to make contactless payments in stores as well as in apps and online where Apple Pay is accepted.

Among the things that users can look forward to include support for faster wireless charging.

Airliner Witnessed North Korean Missile Test
Cathay Pacific flight CX893 claimed to have seen the weapon explode and break apart, according to the South China Morning Post . Washington has repeatedly called for China, North Korea's only ally, to help curb Pyongyang's nuclearization.

Because the software update was rolled out ahead of schedule, the biggest new feature in it - Apple Pay Cash, the new peer-to-peer payments system - wasn't enabled yet.

How to get iOS 11.2?

Facebook Messenger Kids goes heavy on parental controls for safe chatting
For years, major tech firms such as Facebook complied with COPPA by not allowing those under 13 to have accounts. Adults can use the normal Messenger app to talk to the kids on Messenger Kids - it's completely interoperable.

New patches bring a bunch of fixes and features, but unfortunately they can also introduce more problems than they fix.
