Herm Edwards named new ASU football coach

If Herm Edwards dislikes devils, he may want to reconsider taking Arizona State's head-coaching job.

Edwards, the former New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs head coach and current ESPN analyst, was announced as ASU's new football coach Sunday night, pending approval by the Arizona Board of Regents. The New Leadership Model affords coordinators and assistant coaches more flexibility in how they develop student-athletes on the field, and enables Sun Devil Football to build on the "Championship Life" program already in place through the Office of Student-Athlete Development to better equip student-athletes with the tools and skills necessary to succeed in their respective future endeavors. And who knows, maybe it's actually a good thing.

The company reported $0.49 earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, beating the consensus estimate of $0.48 by $0.01. Stifel Finance has invested 0% in Twenty-First Century Fox , Inc. (NASDAQ:PFPT) to report earnings on January, 25.

Anderson also said that he wanted the next head coach for ASU football to have previous head coaching experience, and Edwards provides that. He was 54-74 as an National Football League head coach.

"During my years with and around the NFL, there is not a more respected man that has the passion for the game of football like that of Herm Edwards", said Anderson. It's a collaborative approach to managing the ASU football program that includes sport and administrative divisions, which will operate as distinct, but collective units focused on elevating all aspects of Sun Devil Football.

He did manage to secure a reported $10million severance package from NBC in the wake of the infamous 2005 Access Hollywood tape. It also comes in the midst of a renewed focus on the Trump recording, which the president recently said was not authentic.

If you remember anything about Edwards' presence in his nine-year career as an National Football League analyst on ESPN, he always had a way with words and utilized his role on television as an in-studio coach. Edwards takes over for Todd Graham, who coached the school to a 46-31 record in six seasons in Tempe, Ariz.

ASU has scheduled a press conference for Monday at 10:30 a.m.at Sun Devil Stadium.

Time's Person of the Year Finalists
His investigation has resulted in charges against four people tied to the campaign, including former Trump adviser Michael Flynn. Thanks anyway!" He was granted a second five-year term and has been added to the Communist Party's constitution, Time reported.

Edwards said he felt the fit was ideal enough for him to return back to coaching as a vocation and that he was "excited and humbled" at the possibility.
