The father of UCLA guard LiAngelo Ball says he plans to withdraw his son from school because of concerns related to the freshman's indefinite suspension for his admitted participation in a shoplifting incident during the Bruins' trip to China.

However, this all occurred before Singer failed to show up on set after the Thanksgiving weekend. Bustle has reached out to reps for Singer for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

The move came four weeks after LiAngelo Ball was arrested in China and charged with shoplifting.
