Bullying continues after teen girl hangs herself

Bullying continues after teen girl hangs herself

Bullies continued targeting a California girl on life support after a suicide attempt.

Rosalie left behind a letter apologizing for the hurt she was causing her family, and writing that she did it because she was "ugly" and a 'loser'.

The devastated parents said they voiced their concerns about bullying to their daughter's middle school, but said they don't believe enough was done to stop Rosalie and others from being bullied.

"We had her in counseling, but I really feel like social media is such a big thing on kids", Charlene told ABC 7. "As a mom, I'm still asking myself, like, 'What went wrong?'"

She said: "For you to do that, I mean, you're heartless ... you have no compassion". One of the notes stated, "Sorry, Mom and Dad".

'I go, "You have braces, honey, don't worry".

Venezuelan Digital Currency Backed by Oil
President Donald Trump declared Maduro's government a dictatorship when he announced financial sanctions against it in August. Certain cryptocurrency followers were confused and surprised by the announcement of the Venezuelan leader.

And as if that pain was not enough, Rosalie's parents said they are now being bullied as they mourn having to let their daughter go.

And ever since Freddie and his wife Charlene had to say goodbye to their daughter - they have started receiving hateful cyber-bullying messages on social media. "Next time don't tuck me in this", along with a photo of a bed, "Tuck me in THIS", with an edited image of Avila's face pasted over someone pointing to an open grave. "When you are being harassed and intimidated in school and in any form on social media, it's very hard to get away from that".

Rosalie's parents are hoping the police and the school district will take action to prevent this kind of tragedy from happening again.

Freddie added: "I did everything I'm supposed to do as a father, and these people did not respond, because those bullies are still at the school".

The Avila's said their daughter was bullied for years - and now they're being targeted, too.

She was rushed to a local hospital, where her parents kept her on life support until Monday night so her organs could be donated, NBC News wrote.

House of Cards production to resume without Spacey
The show had just started filming of season six when the allegations first surfaced, but Netflix chose to shutdown the set. Netflix Chief Content Office Ted Sarandos told a conference Monday of the decision, Variety reported.

A GoFundMe for her medical expenses had raised more than $29,000 as of Monday afternoon.

The family says dozens of people have contacted them saying their children are being bullied as well, especially on social media.

Mesa View Middle School expressed their sorrow through a memo on their website.

Worse, even after their daughter committed suicide, Freddie and Charlene Avila saw the bullying move from their daughter to them.

In a statement, the school district said: "No one can fathom the heartbreak and confusion that we are certain many of our students and families are feeling right now". She was a lovely person inside and out.

Freddie found his daughter hanging in her room. "She used to love going to school. She's very smart and always had good grades", the page read. She loved the beach & liked going out to the snow. Her dream was to become a lawyer so she could make the world a better place. "The world lost a treasure".
