The Lamborghini Urus is the "Super SUV" you'll definitely want to drive

The Lamborghini Urus is the

A closer look at Lamborghini's owner, the Volkswagen Group, brings into question whether the decision to release the Urus was financially sound.

In the battle to capture the attention of wealthy drivers, the new entrant will be up against the likes of Bentley's Bentayga, the Mercedes G-Class and footballers' favourite, the Porsche Cayenne.

If you own a successful small business, and want an ultimate sports vehicle you can take to meetings...then this could be it.

But this is no standard SUV; it's an SSUV, or Super Sport Utility Vehicle according to Lamborghini, as the company's not really known for making non-super cars and this can do almost 190 miles per hour. These are impressive performance figures for a large SUV.

Starbucks' New China Store Is the Size of a Supermarket
Starbucks already has more than 600 stores in Shanghai - the largest number of stores in any city where Starbucks has a presence. There are plans for a fancy Starbucks roastery to open in NY next year, but the company says it won't be quite as large.

According to Lamborghini, it can speed from 0-62 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds and topping out at 190 miles per hour.

What makes the Urus one of its kind is its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that has the potential to pump out a maximum power output of 650 hp at 6500 rpm and peak torque of 850 Nm between 2240 - 4500 rpm.

The Lamborghini Urus is not the first SUV from the Italian Sant'Agata Bolognese vehicle producer - there was the brutal LM002 as well. The SUV features five seats and the rear seats are equipped with LATCH points for child seats.

The standard front DNA memory sport seats are fully electric, heated and 12-way adjustable while M18-way fully-electric front seats are an option, including features such as ventilation and massage.

In the eastern seaboard region, the release said, nine ships and two aircrafts were taking up search and rescue operations. Several hundred fishermen have been rescued, the Kerala disaster management agency said.

The SUV "allows you to travel on any terrain: on road, off road, on ice but also on sand dunes", said Lamborghini research and development director Maurizio Reggiani, suggesting it will be the fastest SUV on the market.

The four-door Urus, named after the wild ancestors of the Spanish fighting bull, is meant to be more practical and family friendly than Lamborghini's typical high-powered sports cars.

The Urus will be first available in the US market in Spring 2018 at a base price of $200,000 (Php 1,01,30000).
