New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons Week 14 Injury Report

New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons Week 14 Injury Report

The New Orleans Saints are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Thursday games, 6-2 in their last 8 Week 14 games, 5-2 in their last 7 games vs. NFC South, and 1-4 in their last 5 games following a loss and an ATS loss. The Falcons are also riding a hot streak and have yet to meet the Saints this season.

The Falcons have flashed some glimpses of their high-powered offense from the previous season. "So, its a great sense of urgency and great time management". That's a tall order for any National Football League team, but remember that the Falcons didn't really hit their stride in 2016 until about this point in the regular season.

The Falcons still have two cracks at New Orleans in a span of 17 days, the rematch coming on Christmas Eve afternoon at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and games at Tampa Bay in Week 15 and against Carolina at home to close out the regular season. "If you like running backs, it's your kind of game". The 2016 MVP has seen his numbers take a dip this season and when he's posted a passer rating of lower than 100 Atlanta is just 1-5. First, the Falcons get to play the Saints in their new stadium, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Going up on the road to play a Thursday night game is definitely tough, and going up against a divisional opponent like the Falcons is even more challenging. Most of the time, at least throughout my career, it's been that way...

Saints starting cornerback Marshon Lattimore has been limited in practice this week due to an ankle injury. CB Ken Crawley returned from an abdomen injury and played well last Sunday in a victory over Carolina.

- Falcons defensive end Takkarist McKinley has tallied five sacks this season, second on the team and tied for the third-most in team history by a rookie.

Mark Ingram has battered defenses since Week 2.

"They have won a ton of games since we've been here, over the last 12 years", Saints quarterback Drew Brees said.

The Saints amassed 64 points and 947 total yards in the two losses. In a 14-9 loss, Atlanta failed to score a touchdown for the first time in almost two seasons - a major embarrassment to a team that led the league in scoring a year ago and has so many weapons.

Ingram has rushed for 922 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Kamara has rushed for 606 and seven touchdowns.

Payton said his play-calling has evolved over the course of the season as he has come to understand just how versatile Kamara is.

Six Female Democratic Senators Call on Al Franken to Resign
Franken denied that specific allegation , but apologized more generally for episodes in which his behavior crossed the line. The calls for Franken's resignation came as another woman came forward and accused Franken of forcibly kissing her in 2006.

Atlanta needs to win their last four games of the year in order to make the playoffs.

Currently, the Saints (9-3) lead the NFC South and are playing efficiently on offense and defense. This game has major playoff implications in the division and in the NFC.

The last four games in Atlanta were decided by a total of 16 points. The sense of desperation over postseason possibilities slipping away will spur the Falcons through the fourth quarter.
