Gene Simmons Sued for Sexual Battery in New Lawsuit

Allegations included in the lawsuit include sexual battery, battery, assault, and gender violence.

The broadcaster, identified only as Jane Doe, filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court after she interviewed him at his new Rock & Brews restaurant on November 1, the San Bernardino Sun reported.

According to the documents from the LA County Superior Court as obtained by The Orange County Register on the 15th of December, an unidentified woman - "Jane Doe" - said during an interview with Simmons and Paul Stanley; Gene put the woman's hand on his knee.

Simmons allegedly went on to mention the softness of the woman's skin, before flicking her in the throat for some unexplained reason.

The lawsuit continues to say Simmons "turned standard interview questions into sexual innuendos, which made plaintiff Doe extremely uncomfortable", and then grabbed her hand again, cooed and said she "must use lotion" considering how soft her hand was.

The alleged misconduct occurred in the restaurant's "green room", according to the lawsuit.

'I am conferring with my lawyers with the aim of vigorously countering these allegations. As soon as she did, other women who have had alleged run-ins with Simmons backed her up. The suit also claims Simmons "reached toward Plaintiff Doe's buttocks and touched it" while they were posing for a promotional photo.
