'The Chew' terminates relationship with Mario Batali amid misconduct claims

On Tuesday The New York Times reported that 10 women said Friedman, 56, subjected them to harassing behaviour during their time under his management, such as unwanted groping or demands for sexually explicit photos.

"I wish I could have the day back and do it right", he added, taking "full responsibility" and expressing remorse for his "deplorable actions" and any "pain, humiliation or anguish" they caused.

"P.S.in case you're searching for a holiday-inspired breakfast, these Pizza Dough Cinnamon Rolls are a fan favorite", he wrote. Earlier this week, Batali was sacked from the daytime cooking show The Chew as a result.

Saunders outclasses Lemieux to retain title
Lemieux was hardly gracious in defeat as he blamed a damaged left hand and insisted Saunders killed the contest. Such was his dominance, the judges scored it 120-108, 118-110 and 117-111 in Saunders' favour.

Batali himself also released a statement earlier this week that said he was leaving his company for an unspecified period of time, "to try to regain the trust of those I have hurt and disappointed".

Many on social media were quick to point out the incongruity of a fun holiday recipe in the same note as a serious apology.

Batali initially apologized on Monday after the allegations surfaced in Eater.

UN Security Council Considers Jerusalem Resolution
In his address from the White House, Trump said that after repeated failures to achieve peace, a new approach was long overdue. The Palestinian leadership in the West Bank, however, see East Jerusalem as the capital of a future Palestinian state.

"Upon completing its review into the allegations made against Mario Batali, ABC has terminated its relationship with him and he will no longer appear on The Chew", a spokesperson said in a statement, according to Entertainment Weekly. At least three of the women have worked for Batali in some capacity.

One of Batali's four accusers told Eater about an experience with Batali where he allegedly rubbed her breasts with his hands after she'd spilt wine on her shirt. Batali said the incidents described "match up" with his past behavior.

Batali initially confessed and apologized for his inappropriate behavior and announced that he would be stepping away from his restaurant business.
