Mad Catz To Show Off Three New Products At CES 2018

Now, on the eve of CES 2018, Mad Catz have confirmed they are indeed defiantly back in the game after a short stint in kitty heaven. According to Verrey, rather than be led by management and design teams based out of California and the UK, Mad Catz Global is being run out of Asia by the people who formerly manufactured the products.

The third party peripheral giant used up all nine lives and died in March a year ago, but is due to return under new management, showing a collection of products at CES 2018 next week ahead of a full relaunch. Representatives from Mad Catz will attend that event and show off a new range of peripherals that include gaming mouses, mechanical keyboards, and a new gaming headset.

It is not clear exactly how many new products Mad Catz will have on tap for its return, though it will be at least three.

No victor in the Powerball, estimated jackpot now $550M
As the jackpots for the Mega Millions and Powerball grow, so do the ticket sales, which means more funding for education. And the odds that you'll win $550 million in the Powerball drawing Saturday are similarly stacked against you.

To celebrate their reanimation, Mad Catz have launched another teaser video, expanding on the first teaser with a few more glimpses of the products due to arrive. We are talking about Mad Catz, which before its surprise departure from the market had been focusing on gaming peripherals for almost three decades. The company is now known as Mad Catz Global Limited, with its headquarters located in Kowloon, Hong Kong. If you want to use your own surface, you can just plug in a USB cable and use it as a wired mouse.

Much of the company's product nomenclature remains. We'll be looking forward to checking out the new Mad Catz gear over the course of the year!

We'll get our hands-on with these new peripherals when we're on the ground in Las Vegas next week at CES 2018.

Amazon Alexa will soon control microwave ovens
For example, a customer can say "Alexa, defrost three pounds of chicken" or "Alexa, microwave for 50 seconds on high". LG, Samsung, Kenmore and GE Appliances are also reportedly planning to add Alexa support to their appliance ranges.

They'll also be showing off the S.T.R.I.K.E.4 gaming keyboard and the F.R.E.Q.4 gaming headset.

Speaking about the return, Mad Catz' Selena Chang explained that the company firmly believes that its "best days lie ahead". Mad Catz seem to be squaring up against Logitech's equivalent wireless charging PowerPlay mice and mats with this model. The director continued to state that "we're already working on delivering products which we believe will enhance gamers' abilities and do justice to the Mad Catz name".
