Net neutrality suit gains support from tech's biggest companies

Since he announced that he would schedule a vote on net neutrality repeal, Pai has been the target of seething anger from net neutrality proponents who claim that without the Obama-era regulations, internet service providers will raise prices, block popular streaming sites like Netflix, and otherwise destroy the internet.

The group will join existing suits as an intervening party, likely piling in along with companies like Etsy and state attorneys general.

NASA affirms that ozone hole is shrinking due to CFCs ban
Anne Douglas a scientist and a co-author of the study said that CFCs have a lifetime, so linger in the atmosphere for a long time. From the MLS measurements, scientists expected that ozone depletion during the winter of 2005 to 2016 decreased 20 percent.

IA won't file its own lawsuit but will instead support other legal challenges.

As an intervener, though, the Internet Association still will play a crucial role, filing legal arguments in the coming case. "This rule defies the will of a bipartisan majority of Americans and fails to preserve a free and open Internet". As such, the group intends to act as an intervenor in judicial action against the FCC's order. Being an intervenor would also afford IA and its members to appeal a judge's decision. That's because his repeal - the final text of which was released yesterday - still must be published in a government repository known as the Federal Register. If this proves accurate, this incident looks to be a rerun of the earlier incident where the FCC chairman postponed the net neutrality vote earlier in December 2017. The repeal reflects the believes of the Trump administration and the new FCC chairman, Ajit Pai, that unregulated business will eventually yield innovation and help the economy.

GOP senators send criminal referral to DOJ for dossier author
Leon said the subpoena could "reasonably produce information relevant" to the committee's inquiry. It was not immediately clear from the referral what Steele allegedly lied to investigators about.

The battle over net neutrality rules that were overturned in Washington last month moved into Sacramento this week.

The new rules give internet service providers sweeping powers to change how consumers access the internet but must have new transparency requirements that will require them to disclose any changes to consumers. Making matters worse, Pai's talking points regarding the benefits of eradicating net neutrality often amounted to clumsily vague promises about increased innovation.

Nikki Haley: We must not let Syrian horrors to happen in Iran
He also has described Iran as "failing at every level" and declared it is "TIME FOR CHANGE!" The Iranian people know the truth. Trump's administration has denied having any hand in the demonstrations, saying they arose completely spontaneously.
