ISRO Launches 100th Satellite, Says "New Year's Gift" India makes space history

ISRO Launches 100th Satellite, Says

While it was a historic moment for India - especially after the unsuccessful launch of the IRNSS-1H satellite in August of previous year.

The co-passenger satellites comprise one micro and nano satellite each from India as well as three micro and 25 nanosatellites from six countries - Canada, Finland, France, Korea, the United Kingdom and United States of America. Last June, India launched its heaviest-ever rocket it hopes will eventually be able to carry astronauts into space, a feat only Russian Federation, the United States and China have achieved.

ISRO's 100th satellite is set for launch from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, along with 30 others in a single mission. But this launch proves that all problems were addressed and rectified. "Out of the 31 Satellites, 28 belonging to 6 other countries are carried by today's launch", Prime Minister said on Twitter. This is ISRO's first Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) mission after the unsuccessful launch of the navigation satellite IRNSS-1H a year ago.

Raiders to play 2018 home game in London
The Panthers, Packers and Texans should expect to be next, but that doesn't mean they will necessarily lose a home game. The exact date and time, as well as the rest of the league's 2018 regular-season schedule, will be announced in April.

Cartosat-2 series satellite is the primary satellite carried by PSLV-C40.

A visibly relieved Kumar, on his final mission as the chief of the space agency, said he was happy to provide the Cartosat-2 satellite as a New Year's gift for the country.

The 28 worldwide customer satellites are being launched as part of the commercial arrangements between ISRO and its commercial arm "Antrix Corporation Ltd".

California Woman Returns Christmas Tree For A Refund
The woman still hasn't been identified; however, she did give shoppers on social media a new idea for next year. But I don't think it fazed her because she has no conscience.

Kumar, who is ISRO's current chairman, ends his term on January 14, making this the last mission under his leadership and the first since K Sivan was announced to be his successor.

Later, the payload Microsat developed by the ISRO will be taken down to a lower orbit at 359-kilometre height and launched using the "multiple engine switch-on" method.

The Bangalore Mirror reported that officials with the Indian Space Research Organization said there were no design flaws or fundamental problems with the PSLV. The countdown started+ after the Mission Readiness Review (MRR) committee and Launch Authorisation Board (LAB) gave the clearance on Wednesday. The Cartosat-2 series would orbit around the Earth for five years.
