CES Provides Reasons To Bet on Intel (INTC) For the Long Term

"Data is going to redefine how we create experiences for all audiences in the future".

He also unveiled the company's new automated driving platform, which combines automotive-grade Atom processors and Mobileye EyeQ5.

SAIC will develop Level 3, 4, and 5 cars in China based on Mobileye technology.

About 2 million vehicles from BMW, Nissan and Volkswagen will this year start using Mobileye Road Experience Management (REM) to crowdsource data and so create and easily update low-priced, scalable high-definition maps. Krzanich showed off another new chip during his keynote, and it's a doozy: A 49-qubit chip for quantum computing. "As of now we have not received any information that these exploits have been used to obtain customer data, and we're working tirelessly on these issues to ensure it stays that way", he said.

And Krzanich promised fixes in the coming week to 90 percent of the processors Intel has made in the past five years, consistent with an earlier statement from the company.

Krzanich noted Intel's promising research into neuromorphic computing, a new type of computing architecture that mimics the way brains observe, learn and understand.

While there is no timeline details on the quantum chip - codenamed Tangle Lake - Krzanich was clear that this nascent technology could one day help solve the biggest problems humanity faces, taking minutes to solve problems that our current supercomputers take months or years to calculate, including drug development and climate modelling.

Two U.S. lawmakers are asking federal regulators to open an investigation into stock sales that reaped a $25 million profit for Intel's CEO several weeks before the company disclosed a serious security flaw threatening millions of computers, phones and other devices.

And in January 2017, Frankel led the DWWG to wear white to Trump's first congressional address, a nod to the suffragettes. NBC News reported that the "discussion" of bringing Trump's accusers was quickly "killed".

"This has been a major research effort by Intel and today we have a fully functioning neuromorphic research chip", Krzanich said. Intel was by far the company most affected by the problem, because it has dominant market share in chips used for servers and personal computers.

Krzanich was the keynote speaker at the Consumer Electronics Show.

In his speech at CES, Krzanich introduced the newly established Intel Studios - a new state of the art studio dedicated to the production large-scale content for the next generation of immersive media. This marks the first-ever live virtual reality broadcast of the Olympic Winter Games and will be available in the USA via a forthcoming NBC Sports VR app.

During his presentation Monday, Krzanich also launched into a flashy and wide-ranging celebration of the way Intel and its partners are harnessing data for futuristic innovations, from 3D entertainment partnerships with Paramount Pictures to virtual-reality collaborations with the 2018 Winter Olympics and a new breakthrough in so-called quantum computing.

Why Gillian Anderson is leaving The X-Files
It's not as if Anderson has just been sitting around twiddling her thumbs with nothing to do when The X-Files wasn't on TV. The X-Files returns for Season 11 in 2018, and will mark the last ride for Scully.
