The app has been around since 2016, but recently updated to include a selfie feature that made it take off. Tapping into the curiosity of people and the love of selfies and sharing was a smart move on Google's part.

Schottenheimer takes over for Darrell Bevell, who was sacked after seven seasons in charge of Seattle's offense. Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and offensive line coach Tom Cable are both out and, as the above report hinted, defensive coordinator Kris Richard seems to be too.

NFL Network's Mike Garofalo also reported the Seahawks were likely to reach out to Norton for the job.

The Seahawks are expected to hire former Colts quarterbacks coach Brian Schottenheimer as their offensive coordinator, a league source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Throw in a badly informed Trump tweet, and we had a carnival of folly-which is to say, an ordinary day on Capitol Hill. On Thursday morning, Donald Trump posted a Tweet expressing his skepticism about the government surveillance.

Richard's units slipped the past two seasons, but that was partly due to critical injuries. He took on the role of assistant head coach at USC in 2009. He was subsequently hired by the 49ers last week as an assistant head coach before taking the job with Seattle.
