I'm Back And Ready - Serena Williams

I'm Back And Ready - Serena Williams

She will play Zarina Diyas of Kazakhstan in a night match at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

After her coach Patrick Mouratoglou claimed the 36-year-old will be aiming to add more Grand Slam titles on her return, she appears confident ahead of her comeback.

"It's been hard", Williams said. It's going to take time for Serena to get her feet under her, and I advise anyone looking to bet on her to be patient. "As long as I'm moving forward, even if it's at a turtle's pace, then I'm OK with that".

Williams decided against defending her Australian Open crown in January following concerns over her ability to make an impact in Melbourne.

Turkish court rejects release of detained Greek soldiers
The pair were arrested on Friday for entering a prohibited military zone in the northern province of Edirne. Bozdag said Greece did not demand the extradition of the soldiers who crossed the border of Turkey.

Williams' only appearances after giving birth to daughter, Alexis Olympia, in September, were at the World Tennis Championships in Abu Dhabi in December, and playing doubles for the United States in the Fed Cup against the Netherlands in February earlier this year.

She'll play an exhibition match Monday night at Madison Square Garden in NY, then compete at Indian Wells, California, in her first tour event in more than a year. She knows that coming back might take some time, but her level of expectation is high as always. If I'm not ready now, I'm just never going to be ready. I'm just expecting to see where I am more than anything.

"I don't need any more motivation".

"I do feel she is the same person once she steps on a tennis court".

There's A 30 Minute Nintendo Direct Tomorrow Night
Most of the spotlight will presumably be on the Nintendo Switch , but we reckon the Nintendo 3DS may yet surprise us. Nintendo is capable of filling that window of time with a lot of announcements, both big and small.

"I have the best thing I could ever want right now".

The competition was won by Ukraine's Elina Svitolina, who beat Shuai Zhang of China 10-3 in the final. Here are just five of those reasons, including the event's host, Serena Williams. She hasn't played a match for more than a year, she has had a baby with a lot of complications post-delivery. Madison Keys, who reached the U.S. Open final previous year, and Lauren Davis, who had triple-match point on top-ranked Simona Halep at the Australian Open, came through her academy.

"She had a big year last year — got to the finals of two majors, got to the WTA Finals".

New Zealand beats England by 5 wickets in 4th ODI
Once Bairstow fell, caught in the deep trying to hit Munro for another six, England faltered, losing eight wickets for 46 runs. England slowed New Zealand's momentum with Latham's dismissal and Colin de Grandhomme's departure on 23.
