Meghan Markle makes first public outing with the Queen at Westminster Abbey

The former actress was at Westminster Abbey with her fiancé and the rest of the royal family today for her first Commonwealth Day service.

Meghan Markle may not be an official member of the royal family just yet, but that doesn't mean she isn't already beloved by the Windsor family.

Markle, dressed in a white coat and hat, joined Harry and member of the royal party for the service to mark Commonwealth Day. Queen Elizabeth serves as the head of the Commonwealth-53 nations in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas-and Commonwealth Day celebrates this.

The ceremony included performances by singer Liam Payne, the Portsmouth Gospel Choir and Ngati Ranana, the London Maori Choir, among others.

Following the service, Markle, wearing a cream coat by Amanda Wakeley with a matching beret, stopped to meet a group of pupils and teachers from schools around the United Kingdom who had gathered outside. The couple will walk down the aisle at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.
