QB Sam Bradford to sign with the Arizona Cardinals

Last season, Bradford played in just two games for the Vikings due to injuries in the same knee.

Former Vikings and Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford is heading back to the division he broke in with. Adding to the exodus, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is reportedly expected to draw interest from the New York Jets should the Vikings sign Cousins.

Bradford will be getting a one-year deal worth $20 million with an option for a second season, according to an NFL Network report.

Bradford joins Case Keenum on the road out of Minnesota.

Sam Bradford intends to sign with Arizona, source tells ESPN.

The Cardinals don't have any other quarterbacks under contract.

The addition of Bradford is a welcome one for the Cardinals, who have been in need of a quarterback since Carson Palmer announced his retirement in January. He was shut down for the 2017 last season after needing surgery to help fix a bone bruise in his knee.

Bradford, who played college football at Oklahoma, was the first-overall draft pick by the Rams in 2010.

Baltimore safety Eric Weddle ripped the move, and pointed out how Bradford continues to get paid for essentially doing nothing.

Look for Bradford to be the starter but it will be highly disappointing if the Cardinals were done at the position.

The most experienced of the three, McCown, 38, has played in the National Football League for 14 seasons.

Another Vikings quarterback has moved on as Minnesota focuses on Kirk Cousins. He was traded to Philadelphia in 2015. He was fine in 15 starts, throwing for a career-high 3,877 yards, 20 touchdowns and just five interceptions. He missed most of 2017 with an aggravation of his previous ACL injuries.

He had match figures of 11 for 150 - the fourth time in his 28-Test career that he had ten or more wickets in a match. Rabada said he had contested the charge for brushing Smith at a hearing because he did not touch him on objective .

Arizona Republic's Kent Somers says it is a deal averaging $18 million per season, of course, that might include a third year on the contract as a dummy year, voiding to spread the cap hit over one additional season.
