California Special Mustang returns for 2019

California Special Mustang returns for 2019

"No doubt, 2019 is an exciting year for Mustang enthusiasts, especially fans of our California Special and Bullitt models". The California Special name was revived for a package in 2007 and has been offered off and on since.

The vintage-inspired California Special harks back to earlier models and brings sides stripes with fake rear fender scoops, custom black grille with off-centre retro mustang badge, Performance Pack 1 front splitter, red California Special badge on the boot and five-spoke alloy wheels. "This signature design takes its cues from the original California Special, while enhancing the personality of today's Mustang".

Trade boosting global growth to 7-year high: OECD
Despite the upward revisions, the OECD said private consumption in Japan could be subdued if wage and income growth are modest. Rebounding global business investment would keep global trade growth at about 5 per cent this year, the OECD forecast.

The interior gets microfiber suede-trimmed seats with contrast red stitching and a GT/CS logo; the logo also is embroidered into the floormats, and there is a California Special badge on the passenger-side dash panel. It's pretty much what you would expect of the package. Since the idea had proven to be quite a sales success back then, especially for convertible Mustang enthusiasts, Ford has made a decision to bring it back for the 2019 model year. The rev-matching mimics heel-and-toe action by matching RPM when downshifting, which is beneficial when preparing for a turn.

Under the hood, the 2019 Mustang GT California Special returns with a 5.0-litre V8 engine that packs 451 bhp and 569NM of torque and tops out at 249kmph, mated to a 6-Speed manual with the performance package.

Former top U.S. negotiator says Kim is 'in the driver's seat'
Kim also agreed that the U.S. -North Korea deal could have negative implications for Chinese geopolitical interests. And with many details to work through, there's a lot of work to be done before the meeting becomes a certainty.

Ford is also leveraging its new partnership with B&O Play on the 2019 Mustang. Moreover, for the first time, the B&O Play audio system comes to Mustang with a 10-channel amplifier producing 1,000 watts across 12 high-performance speakers. It has an active exhaust that can be controlled by the driver.

Ford says the 2019 Mustang GT/CS models will be ready to fly down the Pacific Coast Highway this summer. The California Special was one of them.

Cardinals expected to release RB Peterson
He has rushed for 12,276 yards, 12th on the all-time list, and is just 4 yards from passing Marshall Faulk for 11th place. Peterson played in four games for the New Orleans Saints and six games for the Cardinals last season.

Other new additions are vintage colour options Velocity Blue and Need for Green, along with the limited-edition Bullit's Dark Highland Green which has been confirmed for Australia.
