LG to launch G7 ThinQ smartphone in May

Latest leak has revealed a press render of the phone that showcases its different color variants.

Earlier today, alleged press renders of the G7 ThinQ were spotted. The image appears to be legitimate and it gives everyone a look at the phone's appearance before it is even announced by LG. Each of these colours should be available from the day the phone is launched.

Supplied to Android Headlines by a "reliable source", the image shows Aurora Black, Platinum Grey, Moroccan Blue, Moroccan Blue (Matt), and Raspberry Rose colors.

Facebook suspends Vote Leave data firm reportedly linked to Cambridge Analytica
Last week, Facebook released more information about how it will protect the information users share about themselves. Cambridge Analytica said in a statement on Thursday (Australian time) it had data for only 30 million people.

The Aurora Black option is reportedly the "default" color choice, which would make sense. As per the reports, like V30S ThinQ, the new G7 would also incorporate some sort of AI technology as obvious from the name "ThinQ" (pronounced as "thin-cue").

Unfortunately apart from only confirming the name of the handset, LG did not go into any details about it, such as specs, features, or design. The notch will likely house the front camera, earpiece and some additional sensors. Below the phone's main camera snappers, you will notice a fingerprint scanner, while the company's branding will be included on the back as well. The model will have a dual rear camera setup and the position of cameras will be vertically aligned in place of horizontal.

The image further shows four buttons at the side, two volume control buttons, one power button, and the fourth button which instantly activates the AI assistant. Android Authority speculates that it may be a dedicated hardware button for LG's artificial intelligence feature. For the AI features, a dedicated trigger button is expected to be present.
