Fortnite Is Getting Portable Forts

Plans can always change but as Epic Games has already prepared a promo video, it is likely that the new item is ready to go.

When will Port-a-Fort be available?

Thanks to the teaser which was released by Epic Games, now we know what the Port-a-Fort item is all about. Now the developer has released a short trailer on Twitter that gives fans a better idea of what to expect from the Port-a-Fort when it is eventually added to Fortnite. In the trailer, we see it used as a defensive weapon by a player who is being chased by two other people.

Building is a key component of Fortnite, but it's not so easy to do well-especially when the bullets start flying.

It's not something I've ever thought about whilst playing Fortnite, but the next gadget that will be hitting the game is a portable forts. As with forts created by the player, the Port-a-Fort shrouds the player in protective walls, helping elevate them above competing players while helping protect them from bullets and grenades.
