Longtime 'Donkey Kong' record holder gets high scores stripped away

Twin Galaxies is the world's largest record tracking for video games and has been around since the early 1980s. The film followed the battle between two exceptional retro gamers, Billy Mitchell and Steve Wiebe, for the all-time high score on Donkey Kong, with Mitchell prevailing in the end.

In other news, the current world record holder for the highest score in Donkey Kong is held by Robbie Lakeman.

Mitchell has yet to make a public statement about Twin Galaxies' announcement, but Wiebe has now been officially recognized as the first player in the world to achieve a million point game in Donkey Kong. "The rules for submitting scores for the original arcade "Donkey Kong" competitive leaderboards requires the use of original arcade hardware only", reads the Twin Galaxies verdict. Twin Galaxies were founded in 1981 and are a scorekeeping organization that keeps tabs on all records held.

Nosky, Grainger homer in Norton win — HS SOFTBALL
Kylie Winsor went 5 for 5, including a home run, and three RBIs. "She's probably one of the best pitchers around", said Jones. Two days after the game against Sunnyside, Kingsburg played at a tournament hosted by Washington Union High School.

What do you think about the fall of Mitchell's Donkey Kong scores?

After a few months of investigations and gathering evidence, Twin Galaxies has finally reached a verdict in the allegations against Billy Mitchell. Twin Galaxies came to the conclusion that Mitchell used an emulator that looked and played nearly exactly like the original Donkey Kong from 1981, but gave Mitchell a unique edge over players using the original, unaltered version of the game. This means that players can not use emulators or any other software to play the game.

Twin Galaxies, the American governing body that keeps track of arcade high scores, has finished an investigation into allegations that Michell achieved some of his famous high scores through unofficial means.

Macron claims to have proof of Syrian 'chemical attack'
The global chemical weapons watchdog said it will go to Douma "shortly", but it's unclear how much evidence might remain. Moscow, which offers military support to the Syrian regime, has warned of a possible Russian response to a USA attack.

"When I absolutely had the good fortune to get the score on Donkey Kong and I turned around, one of the people shaking my hand, one of the people patting me on the back was Pete Bouvier, owner of Twin Galaxies".

The main reason for this is his suspected use of MAME (emulation software) to achieve his scores, as opposed to using original arcade hardware. This would mean testing all other emulators other than MAME across all other platforms to eliminate the possibility that a different emu was used. This kind of testing is beyond the scope of the dispute case needs.

This has been said before, but it is important to repeat that Twin Galaxies is dedicated to absolutely rooting out invalid scores from our historic database wherever we find them. "And the fact of the matter is that that original footage was given to Twin Galaxies, Twin Galaxies has it or should have it, and if it's anywhere other than Twin Galaxies, that's a real problem".

What Cristiano Ronaldo was doing before Juventus penalty shows elite mentality
Having seen some of Real Madrid's defending in his absence, Zinedine Zidane's side will be praying that is not the case. Only European champions Real Madrid can better Bayern's tally of 11 semi-final appearances in the Champions League .
