Main accuser to testify in Cosby Trial Friday

Cosby's accuser is a woman named Andrea Constand, and she's expected to take the stand to testify as she did in the first trial.

Women who say comedian Bill Cosby knocked them out with intoxicants and sexually assaulted them decades ago are finally getting a chance to confront him - and they aren't holding back.

Mesereau says Constand is a "con artist" who falsely accused the star to bag a almost $3.4 million civil settlement in 2006 to evade debts.

He is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand, a former women's basketball coach at Temple University, in 2004.

Constand will take the stand over the course of the trial, as well as four other accusers of the almost 60 women who have come out with allegations against the comedian.

"Thank God", she said.

But despite Cosby's attempts to silence her, she took the stand last summer. "My vagina was being penetrated very forcefully, and I felt my breasts were being touched, and he placed my hand on his penis and masturbated".

"Did you ever room with her during travel?" inquired Feden. "I didn't know what was going on with my body, and why I was feeling that way", she testified. His lawyers have portrayed Constand as a gold-digging con artist.

Larry Kurtz says three men in a limousine-type SUV had minor injuries, while a 27-year-old woman had critical injuries. Richard Peacock told Deadline that Ferrell's SUV was driving in the HOV lane when the Toyota attempted to get in.

Her harrowing account of sexual molestation was remarkably similar to the one she gave at last year's trial, and jurors watched intently and scribbled notes as she described how Cosby - the good-guy celebrity she viewed as a mentor and friend - had betrayed her trust. "They'll help take the edge off", Constand said.

During almost three hours of cross-examination, which will continue on Monday, defense attorney Tom Mesereau established a total of nine face-to-face visits between Cosby and Constand before and after the alleged attack and asked whether Constand had ever seen Cosby's wife during those meetings. Instead, she admitted that she had not been assaulted but came up with a plan to say otherwise for the sake of money. Chelan Lasha yelled. "What you did to me?"

"I want to see a serial rapist convicted", Ms Thomas replied.

Rochelle, who is part of the global activist group Femen, told us that while she's hoping for a guilty verdict, she doesn't "trust that will happen".

In January 2004, Constand said, Cosby invited her to his house again to discuss her career options.

Heidi Thomas arrives to testify against Bill Cosby at his sex-assault retrial in Norristown, Pa., on April 11, 2018.

Turning to Cosby, she made the remark that suggested he remembered the encounter.

His first trial ended with a hung jury.

"But the silence of the PM and the entire government is very heart-breaking", Maliwal had said before beginning the strike. Kuldeep Singh Sengar , the BJP MLA from Unnao , has been accused of raping a Dalit teenager.

Constand stiffed roommates on utility bills, racked up big credit card bills and operated a Ponzi scheme while running women's basketball operations at Temple University, where Cosby was an alumnus and trustee, Mesereau said.

Asked how Cosby was holding up, Wyatt said, "Mr. Cosby's great".

The confrontation came on the third day of Cosby's retrial in Montgomery County Court in Norristown on three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

Constand maintains they were sedatives and that she felt frozen after ingesting them and was therefore not able to resist any unwanted sexual advances.

Cosby has denied all allegations against him and has said that his relationship with Constand was consensual.

She told jurors she was immobilized and unable to speak after Cosby gave her a blue pill and two shots of amaretto. Then, he offered what he said was an antihistamine to help her cold, and some almond liqueur.

Mesereau attempted to paint her as naive at best or deceptive at worst for claiming she never thought Cosby found her attractive given passes he had made, and gifts of perfume and cashmere sweaters.

Court opened on Wednesday with the defence successfully arguing that jurors should hear about another accuser's criminal past so they can fully assess her credibility.

In recent years, some 60 women have accused the Emmy-winning Cosby, who today claims to be legally blind, of being a serial predator, alleging that he drugged and assaulted them over a span of 40 years.
