North Carolina restaurant serves tarantula burger part of 'exotic meat month'

Bull City Burger and Brewery in Durham is in the midst of its sixth-annual Exotic Meat Month promotion, and one of the menu items: Tarantula Burger.

A hamburger intentionally topped with a tarantula is attracting customers to a restaurant in Durham, North Carolina.

To participate in the so-called "2018 Tarantula Challenge", curious diners can sign up at Bull City Burger for a raffle ticket, which puts them in the running to win the signature sandwich. One lucky (?) victor per drawing gets to sink his or her teeth into the giant furry legs.

The exotic meats range from some that aren't that out-of-the-ordinary, like turkey and venison, to some you'd have trouble finding in other restaurants, like camel and python.
