Spurs look to delay faltering Man.City's title party

One week ago, Manchester City looked destined to lock up the 2017-18 Premier League title in emphatic fashion, holding a 2-0 first half lead over rival United.

Pep Guardiola's side are one of four clubs to have won away at all three of Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs in the same Premier League campaign (alongside Coventry in1993-94, Charlton in 2001-02 and Blackburn in 2002-03).

A tumultuous return from the global break for Manchester City has come to an end. Failing that, Mourinho's side would have to avoid defeat at Bournemouth on Wednesday to make City need to win at home to Swansea next Sunday to confirm the title. "That is why winning the way, hopefully next Sunday, we are going to win, will remain in our hearts for the rest of our lives, that is for sure".

Two defeats to Liverpool in the Champions League with a derby defeat sandwiched in the middle have many people believing City's incredible season could be tarnished.

Over 1000 children abducted by Nigeria's Boko Haram since 2013
The statement read thus: "It is unfortunate that four years after, all of our daughters have still not been accounted for". In February, one faction kidnapped more than 100 schoolgirls from the town of Dapchi, previously untouched by the war.

"People who say it was a big fail last week don't understand absolutely anything about football", Guardiola said. It's much more important what these players have done.

They are already all-but assured of Champions League qualification for 2018-19, but still have work to do in order to get over the line. They are awesome, they are incredible.

There was no sign of City's recent troubles as they immediately found their groove and could have led with only three minutes on the clock.

The question in their remaining five games is whether they can break the 100-goal barrier - they now have 93 - and claim 13 points to become the first club in Premier League history to reach 100 in a season.

Will Ferrell released from hospital following vehicle crash
Larry Kurtz says three men in a limousine-type SUV had minor injuries, while a 27-year-old woman had critical injuries. Richard Peacock told Deadline that Ferrell's SUV was driving in the HOV lane when the Toyota attempted to get in.

Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring in the 22nd minute after Vincent Kompany's long pass opened up Tottenham's defence.

Sterling broke clear this time and, when Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris charged out and took out the England man with a rash tackle, referee Jonathan Moss pointed to the spot.

Having succeeded in taking a goal off his team-mate this week, Harry Kane cutely played in Eriksen, who enjoyed a slice of luck when Aymeric Laporte's challenge played the ball back against him and it flew past Ederson.

Spurs were left chasing shadows as the Blues knocked the ball around purposefully and with speed and after just four minutes, the visitors' superiority was so almost rewarded as Leroy Sane's sumptuous volley smacked against the inside of the post from Raheem Sterling's cross.

Trump says Syria strike was 'perfectly executed'
Macron said the attack was "limited to the Syrian regime's facilities enabling the production and employment of chemical weapons". The UK asserts that the action is not about interfering in a civil war or about regime change.

The victory kept the Reds in third, 10 points ahead off Chelsea, rounding off a fine week for after they also booked a Champions League semi-final against Roma by beating Manchester City 5-1 on aggregate with a second-leg win on Tuesday.
