Trump lawyer arranged $1.6 mln payoff to Playboy Playmate for Republican fundraiser

It seems as if such allegations are true, seeing as Broidy stepped down as the deputy finance chairman of the Republican National Committee shortly after The Wall Street Journal initially reported the alleged existence of such payments totaling $1.6 million.

You can read the Wall Street Journal's story here.

Cohen made the payment on behalf of Elliott Broidy, who is now a deputy finance chair for the Republican National Committee (RNC), the Journal reports.

"I acknowledge I had a consensual relationship with a Playboy Playmate", Broidy said in a statement, as cited by the WSJ.

CBI grills Rabri Devi in IRCTC hotel scam
On Wednesday, Rabri Devi said that it was a conspiracy by Nitish Kumar, Sushil Kumar Modi (of the BJP) and the government. While concluding the letter, Rabri added that the security of her family would be now entrusted with the RJD workers.

'At the end of our relationship, this woman shared with me that she was pregnant. He paid for the woman's abortion and then tossed in an extra $1.599 million because he wanted to "help her financially during this hard period".

The FBI raided Cohen's office, home and hotel on Monday.

Cohen and Davidson did not respond to requests for comment.

Broidy apologized to his family in his statement: "It is unfortunate that this personal matter between two consenting adults is the subject of national discussion just because of Michael Cohen's involvement". Cohen is a national deputy finance chairman for the RNC. Broidy said he retained Cohen because Cohen had a prior relationship with Davidson.

New VW boss vows reform, 'not revolution' to overcome diesel scandal
Shares in Volkswagen were up 0.7 percent to 177.88 euros by 1415 GMT, against a similar rise for the STOXX 600 automotive index. In addition to his job, he will directly oversee vehicle information technology as well as group development and research.

Broidy served on the finance committee with Cohen, who is now under criminal investigation for his business dealings. The Times also reported that month that Broidy used his relationship with Trump as marketing fodder for his clients, offering favors like a trip to the president's Mar-A-Lago resort and tickets to V.I.P inauguration events. Last month, Broidy co-hosted a fundraiser for Trump's re-election campaign in Los Angeles. It also prevents her from pursuing "what she said were potential legal claims against Mr. Broidy, according to the person familiar with the matter".

The deal bears remarkable similarities to an agreement reached between Donald Trump and porn star Stormy Daniels that was signed by Cohen and Daniels, but not Trump.

In October 2016, Davidson negotiated with Cohen a confidentiality agreement for Daniels, who alleges that she had a 2006 affair with Trump.

That $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels isn't the only lurid nondisclosure agreement (NDA) negotiated by Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. Both agreements had separate side letters that listed the real names of the parties, this person said.

Mets C has broken hand, leaving team thin behind plate
The Mets also recalled outfielder Brandon Nimmo from Las Vegas and optioned right-hander Jacob Rhame to the 51s. As far as depth options go, the Mets have already acted quickly to pursue one such addition.

Rosenzweig, who also goes by Broidy, says she was hacked. She has said she understood that American Media Inc. was buying her story not to publish it, but to bury it, in what has been called a "catch and kill" arrangement. Trump has denied relationships with both Daniels and McDougal. Asked if she was considering firing Cohen from the RNC over revelations of his payouts, McDaniel told MSNBC she wanted to talk to him first before making a decision.
