Local Congressional Leaders on Syria Airstrikes

In conjunction with British and French soldiers, the USA military carried out the strikes on three sites, a scientific research center near Damascus and two chemical weapons storage facilities near Homs. Shortly after the airstrikes began, President Donald Trump said all three sites were "associated" with the Syria's chemical weapon program. "There won't be anything, or anyone, even close!"

ImageSat International released early Sunday morning satellite images that reveal the damage caused by the missiles launched in the Western attack on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's chemical weapons program.

Speaking with "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace, the former SC governor defended the USA, United Kingdom and France partnership that saw the three countries launch more than 100 missiles at three separate targets in Syria.

When asked whether Russian Federation was prepared to work with the proposals of Western countries at the UN, Ryabkov told TASS news agency: "Now the political situation is extremely tense, the atmosphere is extremely electrified, so I will not make any predictions".

It comes after the US, UK and French launched strikes on three sites linked to Syria's chemical weapons programme.

The Western countries blame Mr Assad's Government for a suspected poison gas attack in Douma on April 7 that killed up to 75 people.

But progress is slow, partly because big businesses have aesthetic concerns about bottles made from 100-percent recycled plastic. British researchers created the plastic-digesting protein accidentally while investigating its natural counterpart.

She reported Mr Trump telling her on Saturday that the U.S. was "locked and loaded" and prepared for a sustained military effort against Syria, while his Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis said it was a "one-time" shot.

Meanwhile, McKenzie admitted that "there's some left" for Syrian chemical weapons after the attack.

The developments undermined the global community's efforts to reach a political solution to the seven-year bloody political conflict in Syria, which killed hundreds of thousands of people and left millions of others homeless, the source added.

The US assesses that the Syrians fired about 40 missiles in retaliation, but none of them endangered the US forces and its allies.

His comments appeared in line with those of USA ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, who said at an emergency meeting of the U.N. Security Council that Trump told her that if Syria uses poisonous gas again, "The United States is locked and loaded".

On Saturday, a team of United Nations chemical experts arrived in Syria to investigate whether Assad's government was responsible for the attack a week ago.

A screenshot has surfaced of Cardi denying a rumor about hiring Queen Bey's dancers for her Coachella performance. Of that figure, 103,000 can be attributed to traditional sales, putting it above any rap or R&B album this year.

The joint operation was in response to a suspected chemical attack in the city of Douma last week. "It will restore deterrence against further regime use of chemical weapons, at least temporarily".

Haley rejected the premise posed by Fox News anchor Chris Wallace that the US has condoned Assad's use of conventional weapons to kill rebels attacking his forces, just not chemical agents.

USA officials have said the strikes hit three chemical-weapons facilities, including one in Damascus and two in Homs.

Syria called the devastating strike a "violation of global law" while Mr Putin denounced the act "with the utmost firmness".

Speaking to the BBC, Britain's Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said that Western powers had no plans for further missile strikes, though they would assess their options if Damascus used chemical weapons again. The third target was the Barzah Research Center, a military facility located near Damascus that conducted research, development, production and testing of chemical and biological warfare technology.

Syrian state media called them a "flagrant violation of global law", while Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called it a crime and the Western leaders criminals.

Inflation seems set to fall back towards target, but a pick-up in wage growth points to an erosion of slack in the labour market. Sterling's value has increased by more than 6% since the start of the year, and it is now "the darling of the currency world".
