St. Louis Circuit Judge Rex Burlison is expected to announce today whether he will dismiss the felony invasion of privacy charge against Gov. Eric Greitens. The new evidence, he said Tuesday, "would likely support a finding of probable cause that Mr. Greitens obtained an electronic donor list given by The Mission Continues for that organization's internal purposes".

Hawley said Tuesday that it's up to the St. Louis prosecutor to decide whether to charge Greitens with a crime. St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, a Democrat, launches an investigation.

Following the release of the committee's report last week, pressure has mounted from Missouri politicians in both parties for Greitens to resign, but he has said he will remain in office while he fights to clear his name. He refers the case to Gardner for a potential felony charge of tampering with computer data.

March 1: The AP reports that Greitens had used an email address for The Mission Continues to arrange political meetings in January 2015 as he prepared to launch his gubernatorial bid, despite a federal ban on nonprofits participating in political campaigns. Claire McCaskill and has faced an onslaught of Democratic ads trying to link him to Greitens.
