Tim Allen's 'Last Man Standing' TV show nears revival, thanks to 'Roseanne'

Consider it the Roseanne effect - one year after its cancellation over at ABC, signs point towards a Last Man Standing season 7 coming back on the air - though this time over at Fox. Discussions are also underway with producers and stars from the former ABC comedy to return.

Last Man Standing, also starring, Nancy Travis, Hector Elizondo, Jonathan Adams, Christoph Sanders, Kaitlyn Dever, Molly Ephraim, and Amanda Fuller, featured Allen as the father of three daughters, who ran a sporting goods store.

"That was the most unsafe thing, because he's mitigated on the show by a family of all women that had different opinions, but the guy was a likable guy and really a principled guy just about work, and ethics, and all this stuff".

Dion has had an incredible career, sold countless records and performed the most iconic movie song of all time. The singer previously teased that we would be hearing new music from her soon, but none of us expected this.

However, he was still pining for a return of Last Man Standing at the time, telling ET, "I still miss Last Man Standing".

At first, Allen posted a non-specific "stay tuned" tweet to his verified Twitter account.

Allen's tweet may be premature, as a source close to production told Fox News rumors of the show's return are highly "speculative". Fox and 20th TV declined comment.

The series was cancelled last May despite positive viewer ratings for unspecified reasons.

The support's been incredible. "Every set I have ever put into play is slightly different than the previous. Phil also ranks 3rd in this field in Par 3 Scoring, 4th in Par 4 Scoring, and 20th in Par 5 Scoring.

"There's nothing more unsafe, especially in this climate, than a amusing, likable conservative", Allen told "Norm MacDonald Live" last fall.

In May, ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey defended her decision to cancel the show, citing business and scheduling conflicts.

ABC denied politics played a role in the cancellation.

ABC continually rebuffed the assertions (made by Allen and fans, alike) that LMS had been axed due to the political views of the show's lead. "He's mitigated by a family of women who had a difference of opinions, but the guy was a likable guy".

They do not affect seats in parliament, where May has only a slim working majority thanks to a deal with a smaller party. But it was a bad night for the Lib Dems, who lost three seats overall despite taking one from Labour in Rothwell.

CMT was in preliminary talks past year to rescue "Last Man Standing" when it was initially canceled, but discussions never went further.
