Lawyer Says He Consulted Cohen on Schneiderman Accusers

Attorney Peter Gleason spoke with Cohen about allegations that Schneiderman "sexually victimized" two women, according to a letter Gleason filed Friday in a ny federal court. Gleason said he counseled against reporting the allegations to Manhattan's district attorney based on his past experiences with political corruption cases.

Mr. Gleason said in an interview that Mr. Cohen had told him that if Mr. Trump were to run for and be elected governor of NY, he would help bring to light the women's accusations about Mr. Schneiderman. Gleason infers that Dunleavy did bring them to Trump-world, as the lawyer said Cohen, Trump's longtime personal attorney, called him and they discussed the allegations.

Gleason told the Times that the two woman who came to him were seperate that the four woman referenced in the New Yorker report that broke the allegations against Schneiderman this week. Is he a crook?

Attorney Peter Gleason, a former NYPD officer, says he contacted Trump after learning of abuse allegations against AG Eric Schneiderman.

Liverpool fans chief: Champions League final in Kiev 'needs explaining
Arsene Wenger's final game in charge of Arsenal ended with a 1-0 victory at Huddersfield in a match decided by his record signing. Harry Kane and Erik Lamela scored twice as Spurs confirmed third place with an astonishing 5-4 win over Leicester at Wembley.

The unusual letter was sent to U.S. District Judge Kimba Wood, who is overseeing a legal dispute between federal prosecutors and Cohen's attorneys over the material seized in a raid last month of Cohen's office and residences.

In his letter to Wood, Gleason said he was motivated to seek an order protecting information about the women by alleged reckless behavior by Michael Avenatti, a lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels.

When a second woman came forward a year later with a almost identical story of sexual impropriety involving the Democratic attorney general of New York, Gleason says he again bit back his instinct to report the matter to the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.

Cohen did not immediately return CBS News' request for comment. Wait and see, worse than Spitzer or Weiner, ' wrote Trump.

Rafael Nadal's record run is ended by Dominic Thiem
But Thiem succeeded in doing the almost impossible with his deep drives: Make Nadal look sluggish and a step slow on clay. Two-time Madrid champion Kvitova reached the final with a 7-6, 6-3 win over Czech compatriot Karolina Pliskova.

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's personal attorney, leaves federal court in NY on April 16, 2018.

He also told the Times that he had told elected officials about Schneiderman's behavior almost five years ago, and he said that the two women who came to him are not among the four who talked to the New Yorker.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner stepped down amid a sexting scandal, and former Gov. Eliot Spitzer resigned after a prostitution scandal. "The extent of Mr. Cohen's memorializing any of our communications is unknown", he added, asking the court to seal any such records related to the conversation. Wood has already appointed a special master to sort through records seized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation potentially protected by attorney-client privilege. A deep animus had existed between the two men, prompted by a $40 million civil fraud lawsuit Schneiderman filed against Trump's for-profit educational venture, Trump University, in August 2013.
