Slight Chance of Storms for Tuesday

Slight Chance of Storms for Tuesday

After a soggy start to the workweek, rain chances will remain high over the next several days. Heavy rain is also another possibility.

Storm chances return Sunday as that pattern breaks down. We're not too anxious about severe thunderstorms this afternoon, though high winds should be expected.

We're still above average for the annual precipitation but in the last month we've had less than an inch and a half of rain so we really could use some rain.

Overnight: Scattered storms, some with locally heavy rainfall.

Top Philippines court ousts its own chief justice
The Constitution provides that there are special class of government officials that can only be removed through impeachment. Sereno complied with the demand, but abruptly cut her leave short on Wednesday.

Showers and isolated thunderstorms continue Wednesday with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

The primary risk with the strongest storms will be torrential flood-producing downpours along with large hail and damaging winds.

The clouds will clear out early on today as high pressure moves in from the northwest. Do not drive into any flooded roadways. The higher dew points may make it feel more humid than it's been, and south to southwest wind should stay around 15-20 miles per hour for much of the day.

Isolated storms will be possible through Wednesday night. Between Friday and this upcoming weekend, we'll be cooler and stormier. For the rest of the week, each day the sky will be occasionally cloudy with a good chance of showers and scattered thunderstorms.
