Deadly Orange County explosion investigated as intentional act

- AP is reporting that a USA official says a deadly explosion at a Southern California office building is being investigated as an intentional act and investigators believe the blast may have come from a package.

Authorities said they are still trying to figure out what happened and wouldn't comment on whether the incident could be related to a gas leak or explosive devices. The first floor incurred significant damage.

". They weren't on fire, they were helping each other across the street, walking very slowly and a lot of shock, shaking, just full of ash all over their face, eyes bloodshot, just blood all over", the woman said. The federal official said the information about a package-based explosion was based on a preliminary investigation.

The sheriff's department is partnering with the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, who will assist the investigation.
