WWE Raw Likely To Stay On USA Network

The company's current contract with NBC Universal will come to an end in 2019 and the WWE is now in a negotiation period to determine where their programming ends up. The publication cites sources and claims NBCU is focused on renewing its pact for Raw, which is expected to go for as much as three times its current value.

Hollywood Reporter Editorial Director Matthew Belloni posted information Wednesday indicating that Smackdown Live could be done on the USA Network, while Raw is sticking around at triple the price they're now making.

The last time WWE negotiated a new rights deal in 2014, the company made a decision to re-sign with NBC Universal to continue airing Raw and SmackDown on USA Network and SyFy respectively.

HTC Has A Blockchain-powered Phone In The Works
It will be launched later this year at a price of $999 (although those paying with Sirin's own cryptocurrency get a 10% discount). The blockchain is taking baby steps towards gaining mass acceptance and this seems to have caught with the fancy of phone makers.

WWE Raw will reportedly be staying with NBC Universal.

Belloni reported NBCUniversal is allowing WWE Smackdown Live to go to open bidding, but RAW would remain with the network.

SmackDown Live has aired on USA Network since July 2016, and it has been under the NBCUniversal umbrella dating back to 2010, when it was on Syfy. Initially airing on SyFy, they moved SD to United States of America full time in January 2016, but while it now boasts the sixth biggest audience among original cable shows, the blue brand will likely be ditched in favour of keeping Raw.

Britain, France and Germany are working to secure measures to protect European countries working in Iran against the danger of U.S. sanctions.

If WWE increases their revenue for Raw and manages to land a good contract for SmackDown Live, then that will be a major financial boost for the company - not that they need it.

If it does play out this way, it's a dream scenario for WWE.

And if it is Raw on United States of America and SmackDown on Fox broadcast television, the question then might become whether WWE decides to elevate SmackDown to being the unofficial "A" show.
