Trump on FBI Spying on Campaign: Bigger Than Watergate

"But the president this morning is quoting a Fox News commentator as his source", Cuomo cut in, noting that Trump could just pick up the phone and ask the Justice Department himself.

President Trump weighed-in on the revelations Thursday, saying we are "now into the second year of the greatest Witch Hunt in American history".

Trump's tweets followed a New York Times report about operation "Crossfire Hurricane", in which the Obama administration's FBI investigated Trump's campaign.

Brian Kilmeade noted that the report "buried the lead", stating that "at least one government informant met several times" with Carter Page and George Papadopoulos.

US President Donald Trump marked the first anniversary of the special counsel's Russian Federation investigation on Thursday (Friday NZ Time) by repeating accusations that the FBI had a confidential informant inside his 2016 campaign and by calling the probe "disgusting, illegal and unwarranted".

World Health Organization raises risk assessment of Congo's Ebola outbreak
Senior WHO official Peter Salama said the spread to Mbandaka meant there was the potential for an "explosive increase" in cases. On average, about 50% of people who become ill with Ebola die.

"And I don't think it ever did", McCarthy said.

The Washington Post reported on Thursday that FBI officials have been taking steps to reduce the potential damage to other investigations the informant is involved in and protect associates, in the event that the source is outed.

Mr Trump has repeatedly called the investigation a "witch hunt".

"The only Collusion was that done by Democrats who were unable to win an Election despite the spending of far more money!" Andrew McCarthy says, "There's probably no doubt that they had at least one confidential informant in the campaign".

In some sense, many analysts have said, he is right: Efforts by a hostile foreign power to influence a US presidential election - with or without the assistance or knowledge of the winning candidate - may well be a scandal "bigger than Watergate!"

Surgeon General Helps Save Person Mid-Flight
Jerome Adams said he was on a Delta flight from Fort Lauderdale , Fla., Wednesday when one of the passengers needed medical help. Adams, who was traveling to MS for public events, tweeted about the situation. "Medical assistance was provided by the U.S.

Mr Trump also praised his administration, calling it "the most successful first 17 month Administration in U.S. history - by far!" "Sorry to the Fake News Media and 'Haters, ' but that's the way it is!"

On Wednesday night, Trump's newest lawyer Rudy Giuliani was talking about it on Fox News, telling Laura Ingraham that the Federal Bureau of Investigation "possibly plac [ed] a spy in the Trump campaign".

In terms of whether there actually was an informant, Giuliani said he didn't really know.

Giuliani, who is working for the president pro bono, said Wednesday that the probe "is not good for the American people, and the special counsel's office doesn't seem to have that sort of understanding that they're interfering with things that are much bigger than them".
