'Halloween' trailer starring Jamie Lee Curtis


In the new Halloween reboot (out October 19), Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her role as Laurie Strode, who, 40 years after she and Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) battled the psychopathic masked killer Michael Myers, remains a deeply traumatized woman. When Laurie learns that Michael has broken out of prison and plans to terrorize to their small IL town of Haddonfield - where Laurie, her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), and her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) reside - she readies herself for a brutal and bloody showdown that will end their deadly cat-and-mouse game for good.

Curtis' character was unceremoniously killed off in Halloween: Resurrection in 2002, but in true Halloween franchise fashion, it would appear that the new Halloween film will be ignoring the continuity of numerous sequels in favor of telling its own story.
